A Surprise End to the Day

The rest of the day went like this:

2:00 reduced fat string cheese
3:30 Iced tea with unsweetened lemonade from Starbucks. No clue on the calorie content on that one.

6:00 another reduced fat string cheese

8:00 half a spinach salad with bacon, eggs, mushrooms and warm bacon dressing and half of the best hamburger in town with cheddar cheese, tomato, ketchup, mustard and full fat mayo. Also had a fountain Coke...the only thing better than ice cold Coke in a can!

10:00 Joe and I walked 2.3 miles around the neighborhood...what a beautiful night! Didn't want to come inside. Pretty impressive for a night that was supposed to be filled with thunderstorms.

Before going to bed, I weighed myself even though I wasn't going to do it for a week. I weighed 138.5 lbs! Good incentive to keep going and do better. Also, it shows what portion control does. I could have eaten much better this week, but the bigger problem for me is the amount I eat. Eating smaller meals and snacks is obviously better...I just have to keep it up.
This photo was from my honeymoon on the Mayan Riviera during the best beach day ever! It is our own little Corona print ad. The beer was cold, the sun was hot and I weighed about 132...the least I've weighed since we've been married. I want another beach day like that in LA, only 7 lbs lighter!
Ok, now I have to go to sleep. My alarm is set for 6:30 so we can walk/jog before heading to Findley Market. Hope you guys are having a good weekend!
