The reality of what we eat

OK my friends. How well are you eating now, and how well can you eat? We'll track how well we're doing here, and of course comment along the way. And anyone else that wants to join is more than welcome. Keeping each other honest about this, and not just for the trip to LA but ongoing, will help everyone.

I just created this today, so the blog will go through some changes over the next couple of weeks so that we can tailor it to how we want to use it. And throw feedback my way to - I won't be able to get it perfect, but will get it as best as I can.

My eating for the day? So far, a little off:
  • 7:15 AM: Cereal
  • 8:45 AM: EAS bar, chocolate milk
  • 12:30 PM: Ham and cheese wheat wrap, baked chips, swiss cake rolls
  • 2:00 PM: Powerbar
  • 5:30 PM: Oatmeal bar
  • 8:00 PM: Chipotle Carnitas burrito bowl w/ cheese, tomatoes, corn
  • B/t 70-80 ozs of water

Not the greatest day in the world, but not terrible. As workouts get stronger, the need to eat more in a day kicks in.

Briz, you rock!

I think this is what I need to keep my honest (says the girl eating frosted animal crackers as she types.) Yes, I have a long way to go. I am going to weigh myself tonight and post it. That should shock me into the program. I also have to make a grocery trip to K-Roger in support of healthy eating.

You are right. I want this to go beyond LA. If I can get with the program, it will be habit by then. Doesn't habit formation start after only a few weeks? We also have to invite Drofsky. She will be into this too.

First off Briz, this is why I love you. You are the only person who would be able to make me stick with this. This is a perfect idea because I am not a good liar, so I will be honestly posting what I eat and the process I am making. I want you, and my west side girl to keep me honest. I want to not only be hot for LA, which some people are confusing for the SIMPL gate, but also for the future so I can find and keep myself a hot man. Here is my day:

Breakfast- yogurt and granola, water
Lunch - Montgomery Inn chips (just a few, but still not good). A piece of bread. It was a busy day.

Late Lunch- Veggie burger on WHEAT with cheese

Snack - 150 calorie animal crackers

Dinner - PB&J sandwich on WHEAT. Glass of wine

I did 20 minutes of Pilates and some abs....

Bring on the hottness!
