Ang - great to see you back on here! It's been a while...glad to have you back :)
This will be quick - I need to shower and then get going with some errands for the day. Eating yesterday wasn't bad, until I tried to bake fish for the first time ever...didn't go over so hot. I have the other half for tonight and am hoping that it goes a little bit better. You guys prolly saw most of my eating yesterday in that spreadsheet...and while it may be nerdy as hell, it's also the only way I know for you to realize what you're putting in your body.
- 7:30 AM: Cereal
- 9:00 AM: EAS bar
- 10:00 AM: Yogurt
- Noon: PBJ, Baked Lays, Swiss cake rolls
- 2:30 PM: Oatmeal bar
- 4:45 PM: Chicken noodle soup
- 8:30 PM: Baked fish, baked beans (odd combo, but that's what i had here)
Today's off to a decent start. Woke up at 7:15, cut up strawberries, ate cereal, worked out, now back in the apt. All by 9. Liking it.
Hope you guys have a great day - Nat, I'll see you later tonight at Karlie's thing, but I may only make my appearance for 30 mins or so and then bolt - we'll have to see. And I'll let you know about tomorrow's Reds game too.
Spend some time outside guys! It's good for the soul ;)
Oh - almost forgot. This is on a Successories poster about Abraham Lincoln - one of my favorites:
He failed in business in '31. He was defeated for state legislator in '32. He tried another business in '33. It failed. His fiancee died in '35. He had a nervous breakdown in '36. In '43 he ran for congress and was defeated. He tried again in '48 and was defeated again. He tried running for the Senate in '55. He lost. The next year he ran for Vice President and lost. In '59 he ran for the Senate again and was defeated. In 1860, the man who signed his name A. Lincoln, was elected the 16th President of the United States. The difference between history's boldest accomplishments and its most staggering failures is often, simply, the diligent will to persevere.
Keep persevering guys. We'll get there.
