Honestly, I'm not setting a good example for you guys lately, so my apologies for that. Lately has been a little crazy for me with vacations and way too much work sandwiched in between them. Personal life has been a little nuts as well (and no Nat, this has nothing to do with a certain subject that I know ur thinking of).
OK, all in all, my eating has been prolly 80% good lately and 20% off. The off has been things like ice cream with the girls and a little too much pizza which spells B-A-D N-E-W-S for anyone. Luckily my snacks are saving me - I've been religious about those and haven't deviated even when I've been in the car or with the girls. Keeping those around has helped. It's the dinners here and there that have been the issue, but I'm working on those now. I made a pact to myself the other night that frozen veggies, while convenient, are the DEVIL (Waterboy reference anyone?!?). Fresh veggies are where it's at, and with new pots and pans from IKEA (I finally broke down and spent a couple bucks on things to actually cook in) I think I'm gonna start trying things. Been experimenting with baking fish lately, and while costly, it's been ok. Need to learn the fresh veggie thing to make sure I get those in each day too.
As far as you guys are concerned, it seems like the eating has been fair to good lately, but not great. And to be clear, mine has been far from great. The part that I wonder about is the exercise with you guys. Are you doing it, and if so, are you doing it enough? It's incredibly important. I haven't been doing it enough lately, but I hate making excuses as to why. I just haven't. So my body is killing me for it, and I want you guys to be in the same spot - that your body tells you to get back in the gym when you haven't been there in a long time.
