Breakfast:
Spinach and artichoke egg souffle from Panera
Fruit cup
Iced tea
Lunch: I ended up going to the Reds game (on a date!) I tried my best, but know that it wasn't healthy at all.
Hotdog with a white bun
Draft Miller Lite - I am guessing that this was two servings worth
Dinner:
Tossed salad with ranch dressing
PBJ Sandwich on wheat
So typing this makes me realize that I didnt do very well on my # of eating times per day.
This was of course all recorded in the spreadsheet that Clay created. I just sent that to you guys, and am excited to see the total results as well as Clay's perspective. I learned a lot from the exercise and in true P&G fashion, I wanted to summarize my key learnings.
- I get a lot of sodium during the day. I was surprised at how much sodium was in certain things. Not good I am guessing. I am thinking that sodium not only leads to high cholesterol, but probably makes you retain more water or something along that line. More water = more weight, which = bad.
- Lite beer is surprisingly not bad. Of course, I am smart enough to realize that this doesnt mean I should drink it all day, but still, not as bad as I would have thought.
- You can find the diet facts of about anything online. Restaurants also have all the info of their food listed. This will be helpful in thinking through some of the choices that I make prior to eating.
- I thought that the egg souffle would be a better choice than a bagel with cream cheese. Holy heck, I was wrong! I will never look at one of those souffles the same way again. Who knew....really?!?!? The point above is well taken on this one.
