Tired of being sick, but getting better. Chad's graduation went well today, although a little long. There's a good group from his class coming to P&G, so it was good to meet a couple of them. Rained all day long in Bloomington and in Louisville, so that was kind of a bummer.
The biggest bummer of the day, though, was my eating. Haven't had a day like this in a while, but here it is:
- 1:30 PM: Chicken salad sandwich, chicken noodle soup, lemon tart
- 7:45 PM: Roast beef, carrots, fresh fruit, pimento cheese/crackers
- water during the day
Honestly, that's it. Between Chad not having any food at this place given that he's moving out soon, and traveling between places today, I just didn't eat. And man am I paying for it. Don't follow this example, folks - it's baaaaaad.
Ang - one of the things that I've noticed lately is that you're putting up coffee as one of your meals/snacks. I'm not sure how filling that stuff is since I don't drink it, but if you can get something to actually eat with that that's good for you, that'd be great.
As far as Joe is concerned, I haven't heard about the bars that he's eating until I just looked them up tonight. They don't look bad at all from the nutrition label that I saw. I have heard about Crossfit, and some of it is nuts! Hope he's enjoying it though. My manager's brother does that in Atlanta which is where I heard about it first. I noticed that there was 1 or 2 Cincinnati places that did Crossfit. Be interested to hear what he thinks about it. As far as my Oatmeal bars, yes - they are the Quaker ones that come 6 to a box, I think. Since I'm not sure what he's doing as far as eating is concerned, it's hard to say what he could do to trim a few more pounds. I always talk to folks about 6 meals a day first and then get into more detail on what to eat, when to eat, etc. Not sure if he's doing that or not, but if he's not, start there. That would be a huge help for you too if you could keep this stuff up together. It'll also benefit the kids as well. When the girls are with me, they eat like me, and that's a big deal.
Nat, congrats on the house! Hope ur having a great time with your parents in town!
OK, I'm out for now. Need some sleep. Hoping that tomorrow's eating goes better since I'll be here all day. Be good guys!
